Sugar Free Waffles
This 4 ingredient recipe does not contain any processed sugars.
- 1 cup spelt flower
- ¼ cup cacoa powder or protein powder
- 1 + ½ cup almond or coconut milk
- 1+ ½ Tsp baking powder
Mix all 4 ingredients together in a bowl with a whisk. Aim for the consistency of a batter similar to pancake mix. After mixed thoroughly, pour batter into waffle presser. Leave for 3 minutes on high heat.
After waffles are toasted you can plate them to eat now or allow them to cool and freeze them for later. The choice of toppings I used was 1 banana, 2 chopped medjool dates, raw cacao nibs, hazelnuts, frozen blueberries and sugar-free yoghurt.
