There are 2 types of shungite

1. The most expensive type is elite or also called noble shungite which is shiny sliver colour which is only made into jewellery as the structure is very hard to work with. Elite shungite is the purest of shungite which is 95% pure.
2. Regular black shungite, this shungite is more commonly seen as it’s easier to work with, manufacturing ornaments, cosmetics and bespoke jewellery. Regular shungite is 60% pure.
